The share of the eye may vary in shape from the almond-like shape of Siamese to the round shape of a ragdoll cat. 

They have generally a medium to large shape showing a muscular build. Adult Ragamese weight lies between 8 to 15 pounds. Females Ragamese have a lower weight than males.

Though the life span of cats depends on various factors, still you can expect a long age lifespan for Ragamese with proper care, good nutrients, and regular health checkups.

A ragdoll siamese mixed breed has quite longer lives. They live up to 15 years long but the age can be extended a few more years it proper health care and nutrient values.

Like other ragdoll mix breeds, Ragamese cats are also prone to some health issues.

Here are some common health issues of Ragamese:

  • Urinary tract disorders: Ragamese are very prone to urinary tract disorders including some common diseases in their bladder, kidney, and urethra.

  • Progressive retinal Atrophy: Progressive retinal Atrophy or PRA is an eye disease caused by decreasing function of eye photoreceptors. At the early stage of PRA, this disease is called retinal dysplasia. This is caused by abnormal growth of photoreceptor cells which ultimately results in blindness of cats.

Like all other cats, Ragamrese is also an obligate carnivore also called hypercarnivore meaning they require 70% meat or animal protein. You should consider a healthy protein source which comes from good quality meat, and fish as a primary source of protein.

Always prepare a diet chart by considering your cat’s age, body weight, and their activity levels. Generally ay at younger age frequent diet is required for their rapid growth. But an adult Ragamese required twice or thrice times meals per day.
